Snowdonia is a National Park of outstanding natural beauty that includes Snowdon - the highest mountain in England and Wales. It can be accessed by a rack railway as well as by the mountain paths that abound throughout the area. The nearest of the spectacular rock climbs and the start of some of the walks are within walking distance of The Joys of Life - which is less than a mile outside the National Park.
